Her second untitled feature will be produced by Noah Wyle and James C Katz.

Swedish film-maker Agnieszka Lukasiak is heading to Hollywood for her second feature, which will be produced by Noah Wyle and  his producing partner James C. Katz.

The as yet untitled project will be co-produced with Swedish company Hob AB.

Katz said he was “extremely excited” to be working with Lukasiak, whose debut feature Between 2 Fires will have it’s world premiere at the Pusan Film Festival in October followed by it’s European premiere at the Warsaw Film Festival.  The film tells the story of a mother and daughter who find themselves in a Swedish refugee camp after escaping child trafficking in Belarus.

”Noah and I saw Between 2 Fires without any knowledge of the subject and were totally captivated by the film’s quality and it’s message. We were impressed with its script and style and thought we would like to work with the director. We met Agnieszka and were equally impressed. We hope this collaboration will be the first of many,” added Katz.
