Guido Rud’s The Trailer Co forms joint venture with Tendal Montivideo

Guido Rud’s Buenos Aires-based The Trailer Co has joined forces with Spain’s Tendal Montivideo to form a transatlantic trailer design business.

Tendal Montivideo is managed by Miguel Angel San Antonio, the former former creative director of Canal + and Digital + Spain.

The new joint venture, which will also be called The Trailer Co, will operate from two production hubs – one in Europe focusing on mainstream films and major territories and the other in Latin America focusing on independent cinema. The company is selling itself as a one stop shop for trailers and artwork.

Rud will be in charge of all worldwide sales, marketing and press for the company, while Angel will run the creative side, managing both facilities and global lab deliveries.

Among the trailers created by Tendal Montivideo are hits like Agora (pictured), The Others, The Sea Inside, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, Cell 211, The Orphanage, Pan’s Labyrinth, Alatristeand Oscar-winner The Secret in Their Eyes.

Rud is also head of film sales company Film Sharks International.
