William H Macy, Felicity Huffman, Sam Rockwell and Amanda Peet to star in dark comedy alongside writer-director Clark Gregg. UTA Independent Film Group represents domestic rights and Mimi Steinbauer’s Radiant Films International is handling foreign sales.

The story centres on a has-been child agent who stumbles upon a brilliant prospect. Newcomer Saxon Sharbino will play the teenager and the cast includes Paul Sparks, Allison Janney, Molly Shannon and Niecy Nash.

Principal photography is underway in Los Angeles.

Mary Vernieu and Gregg are producing through their new Savage Bunny label with along with head of British Columbia-based Bron Studios Aaron L Gilbert and Unified Pictures head Keith Kjarval. Rockwell is on board as executive producer.

Kjarval and Gilbert recently teamed on thriller A Single Shot, which is in post and stars Rockwell, Jeffrey Wright, Melissa Leo, Jason Isaacs and Macy. 

Gregg previously wrote and directed Chuck Palahniuk adaptation Choke, which also starred Rockwell and earned a special jury prize at Sundance 2008.
