Two-time Oscar nominee Jackie Weaver and actor Julian Sands have joined the cast of Six Dance Lessons In Six Weeks, the new film based on Richard Alfieri’s play of the same name.

Weaver is well known for her roles in Animal Kingdom and most recently Silver Linings Playbook. Sands’ previous films include The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, The Killing Fields and A Room With A View.

Six Dance Lessons In Six Weeks centres on a retired woman who develops a close relationship with her private dance instructor.

Arthur Allan Seidelman will direct the project for Hungary-based Docler Entertainment and LA-based Entpro and has previously directed the stage version on Broadway. Andras Somkuti produces.

Filming is currently underway at Astra Film Studios in Budapest, Hungary, and the production will also shoot in St Petersburg, Florida.
