Dianne Wiest, Mark Duplass, Ayelet Zurer and Sam Shepard have joined Kevin Kline and Diane Keaton on Likely Story and Werc Werk Works’ comedy Darling Companion.

Lawrence Kasdan will direct from a screenplay he co-wrote with Meg Kasdan about a woman who loves her dog more than her husband, who loses her dog. Richard Jenkins and Elisabeth Moss round out the key cast.

Anthony Bregman is producing for Likely Story alongside Werc Werk Works CEO Elizabeth Redleaf and Lawrence Kasdan. Christine Walker, Meg Kasdan and John Kelly will serve as executive producers.

The production is scheduled for a 30-day shoot in Utah starting in late September.
