EXCLUSIVE: The Los Angeles-based company will kick off international sales in Toronto on the all-star zombie comedy Life After Beth.

Life After Beth recently wrapped production in Los Angeles and centres on a young man whose life takes a turn for the worse when he attempts to make amends after his recently deceased girlfriend returns from the dead.

WME and CAA jointly represent North American rights. Jeff Baena makes his feature directorial debut from his own screenplay.

Liz Destro and Michael Zakin are producing alongside American Zoetrope, Starstream Entertainment and Abbolita Productions. Charles Bonan, Tim Nye, and Kim Leadford are among the executive producers.

Destro produced the upcoming Toronto world premiere Life Of Crime starring Jennifer Aniston, Isla Fisher, Tim Robbins, John Hawkes and Mos Def.

XYZ Films attends Toronto with a sales slate that includes Dutch crime thriller Wolf and horror-comedy Stung. The company recently wrapped production on The Raid 2. Sony Pictures Classics will release in the US and Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions acquired select territories.

Principal photography is complete on Participant Media’s Out Of The Dark and XYZ Films is preparing with director Gareth Evans the Indonesian-set action film The Night Comes For Us.
