Seville International has closed a raft of sales heading into Cannes on SXSW selection The Mule.

Anick Poirier and her team have licensed rights to the US (XLrator Media), Germany (MFA), Switzerland (Ascot Elite), Greece (Filmtrade) and the former Yugoslavia (VIP Media).

Seville International director of sales Natalie Kampelmacher negotiated the deals for Greece and the former Yugoslavia.

Crime drama The Mule stars Hugo Weaving, Angus Sampson and Leigh Whannell, creator of the Saw and Insidious franchises. The film screens in the market today [15].

“This is a great way to start a market and what fun we have had with this very original movie, to say the least,” said Poirier.
