The screenwriter will receive the WGAW’s (WGA-West) 2013 Paul Selvin Award for his adapted screenplay.
The award is named after the late Guild counsel and is presented to a WGA member “whose script best embodies the spirit of the constitutional and civil rights and liberties, which are indispensable to the survival of free writers everywhere.”
Kushner will collect his award at the WGA awards ceremony on Feb 17 in Los Angeles.
