Trevor Philips OBE and Channel 4’s Krishnan Guru-Murthy are to join the speakers at Creative Week’s Diversify event.

Philips, the former chair of the Equality and Human Rights Commission, joins the C4 News presenter as part of the extensive line-up of speakers due to appear in London at the Creative Week series of events in June.

Speakers at Diversify, which takes place on Tuesday June 3 at RADA in partnership with the Royal Television Society, will discuss how to achieve real change in the ethnic make-up of TV’s workforce and whether it is time to embrace the idea of quotas.

Also confirmed to appear at the event are DJ Films producer Damian Jones, Creative Access’ Nigel Warner and Skillset deputy chief executive Kate O’Connor. Their panel will offer producers and executives practical advice on how they can make their teams more diverse.

Diversify is an exclusive addition to the programme and only available to Creative Week ticket holders.
