Catalogue includes Cine-Asia collection which will be made available on DVD and BR for the first time in almost two years.

Trinity Film has acquired the Showbox catalogue, including the Cine-Asia collection.

Cine-Asia titles include Ip Man, Ip Man 2, Confucius and Little Big Soldier, while Ichi the Killer is among the other Showbox titles in the catalogue. The films will be made available again on DVD and Blu-ray for the first time in almost two years.

Cedric Behrel, co-founder and director of Trinity Film, commented: “Overall, we recognise fans haven’t been able to get their hands on some of these films in the formats they want at an attractive price, and that is exactly what we are setting out to repair.”

Trinity Film is also planning to release special steelbook editions, collector editions and boxsets in the New Year.
