Touring representatives from the UK’s Screen Agency Network will promote UK facilities, locations and tax benefits during the inaugural UK Film & TV Week in Los Angeles this week.

The British Film Commission (BFC) hosts the event, in which its CEO Adrian Wootton, UK Tax Relief expert John Graydon and top brass from Creative England, Film London, Northern Ireland Screen, Creative Scotland and Wales Screen will meet executives from studios, independents, broadcast and cable.

The itinerary will include panel discussions, an animation roundtable breakfast and an industry reception.

“We have a wealth of talent, locations and world-class facilitates, all underpinned by a fantastic suite of tax reliefs, and this week is about proactively connecting with film and television producers and decision-makers in LA to make them aware of the great UK offer,” said Wootton.

“Being here with our regional and national partners it is also a fantastic opportunity to showcase the very best of the UK.”

The BFC aims to turn the tour into an annual date on the calendar and plans to stage similar events in New York and Toronto in spring 2015.

UK Film & TV Week, Los Angeles runs from October 20-24.
