UK Film Centre in Cannes to include talks about Inbetweeners, micro-budget filmmaking and digital vs film
Speakers to include Damian Jones, Peter Carlton, and Charlotte Bruus Christensen.
The UK Film Centre has announced its programme for Cannes, where it is open from May 16-25 in the International Village next to the Palais des Festivals.
Topics include appealing to the 16-25 demographic with The Inbetweeners Movie’ producer Christopher Young and Fast Girls’ producer Damian Jones, among others, and micro budget filmmaking where Warp Films Europe’s Peter Carlton will talk to the likes of Andrew Starke and Ben Wheatley, producer and director of Directors’ Fortnight entry Sightseers.
Charlotte Bruus Christensen. director of photography for Competition title The Hunt, will be among the cinematographers on hand to discuss the digital versus film debate.
