She was most recently senior VP at The Weinstein Company in New York.

Bethan Dixon will join London-based Organic Marketing as head of the newly established international publicity division.

She takes the post in September and will report to Organic MD and founder Nick Leese.

Organic is part of the Target Media and Communications Group.

Most recently Dixon was senior VP of worldwide publicity at The Weinstein Company in New York. Prior to that she worked on the film team at Rogers & Cowan and also ran international publicity at Paramount Vantage in Los Angeles. She has also wored at Miramax, Focus Features (in London), and Universal Pictures International.

Leese said: “We have built a team, over the past five years, with eclectic backgrounds in entertainment marketing and PR, enabling us to offer clients dynamic cost effective solutions on and offline . We have a reputation for being creative thinkers and accurate implementers. Organic has expanded it’s PR capability in recent months, with the appointment of Emma McCorkell to run UK; Bethan’s appointment will build on the UK success and will make Organic’s integrated off & online offering truly international. Bethan will bring new contacts and experience to Organic and I am really looking forward to working with her to drive this area of the business.”

In the new post, Dixon will bring in new business with international producers and distributors, work on international film campaigns, including festival launches, special events, international PR tours and junkets, as well as awards season work.

Organic’s current clients include Disney, DreamWorks, Icon, Universal, Optimum and Artificial Eye.
