UK documentary director Penny Woolcock is one of 10 film-makers to benefit from Channel 4 Britdoc’s latest round of development grants, via its ongoing partnership with sports brand PUMA.

Woolcock’s latest documentary What’s Going On? is one of 10 international projects to have been selected for PUMA Creative Catalyst Awards, which include a development grant of up to $6,600 (€5000). The projects were chosen from over 350 submissions.

Channel 4 Britdoc teamed up with PUMA in September 2010, to launch a series of documentary initiatives, including the Creative Catalyst Awards. This is the second round of grants since the partnership was launched.

Other film-makers receiving funding include Ross Kauffman (the Oscar-winning Born Into Brothels); Eva Weber (The Solitary Life of Cranes); and Geoffrey Smith (The English Surgeon).
