New Facebook page showcases news and trailers for major studios
The British Video Association (BVA) is launching a new Facebook hub dedicated to home viewing on behalf of 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, Paramount Home Entertainment, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, Universal Pictures (UK Ltd.), Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment and Warner Home Video.
Film@Home will deliver home ent new, trailers and giveaways. The BVA is hoping the page will provide a mainstream UK home for the Blu-ray format, following the consolidation of www.thisisbluray.co.uk into the BVA’s own website last December.
Lavinia Carey, director general, BVA, said: “Film@Home offers a unique proposition to consumers and Blu-ray distributors. It’s a place for the companies to showcase a range of titles and formats, highlight exclusive previews and competitions and engage in conversations with their fans. For consumers it provides some of the very best home entertainment content in one, easy to use location”.
