Creative England appoints talent development team

Former head of creative development at Warp Caroline Cooper Charles and former film development executive at EM Media Anna Seifert-Speck have joined Creative England as senior talent executives.

They join former freelance line producer Wendy Bevan-Mogg, who was appointed in December as talent manager for all of the English regions outside London. They will report to Chris Moll who heads up the talent team.

Cooper Charles, whose development credits at Warp included All Tomorrow’s Parties and Bunny And The Bull will take on the role of senior talent executive for the North of England, whilst Seifert-Speck will become senior talent executive for Central England.

Seifert-Speck was previously responsible for Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg’s New Talent slate, including international successes such as The Edukators before she joined Nottingham based regional screen agency EM Media where she nurtured projects including Andrew Haigh’s Weekend.

Bevan-Mogg has been in her post as talent manager since December 2011. She started her film career working for Artificial Eye and Pathé International, before moving first into freelance development and then into production. 

All three will be tasked with delivering support, initiatives and investment to emerging and established regionally-based talent.

Creative England is due to announce the launch of its micro budget film-making scheme, iFeatures2, later this week.
