The £450,000 fund will go towards feature film production from producers or co-producers based in the West Midlands.

Creative England is re-launching the West Midlands production fund, with £450,000 set to be made available for investment into the production of feature films from producer or co-producers based in the West Midlands.

The Advantage Media Production Fund (AMPF) was originally set up in 2007 by regional screen agency Screen West Midlands to support the development of Birmingham and its neighboring counties as a hub for filmmaking in the UK. Previous investments include Nativity, Soulboy, Tormented and Special People.

One of the last remaining regional production funds, it is financed through a combination of European Regional Development Funding (ERDF), UK Government-sponsored regional development funding and recoupment from the earlier West Midlands Production Fund.

The deadline for submissions is June 8.
