EXCLUSIVE: IM Global CEO Stuart Ford is moving David Jourdan from the company’s LA headquarters to run the European base in London as former UK office head Tim Grohne moves on to a digital distribution venture that will be announced shortly.

Jourdan will serve as evp of European sales and acquisitions and will report to Ford and president of international sales Jonathan Deckter.

He will split his activities been international sales in key European markets and project acquisitions. The move is effective June 1.

Grohne has served at IM Global since its inception five years ago and was instrumental in bringing in UK-originating projects like comedy smash The Inbetweeners, 44 Inch Chest, Walking With Dinosaurs, One Life and Blood.

“We’re sorry to see Tim move on,” Ford said. “He’s played a significant role in the growth of IM Global and is an extremely well-liked and well respected figure in the international film community.

“Fortunately we have an ideal replacement already on the team in David Jourdan.”

Jourdan has been with IM Global since 2010 most recently as senior VP of international sales; he had been at Katapult and T&C Pictures International.
