Jon Diamond, founder of London based post production company LipSync, is leaving to set up his own production company Box Clever TV Ltd.

Peter Hampden, who co-founded the company with Diamond in 1986, will take on the role of managing director at Lip Sync, whilst Norman Merry will remain in the role of finance director.

The pair now have plans to expand the company, which is currently doing the post production on Ralph Fiennes’ Coriolanus, and Simon Curtis’ My Week With Marilyn.

Meanwhile Diamond, who will serve as a non executive chairman in an advisory capacity for The LipSync Group, is producing a series for Channel 5 for his new production company.

“It’s time I returned to my roots in the creative arena. I am leaving with a lot of fond memories and a real sense of achievement, having built - together with my fellow directors - a robust and innovative company with extremely talented staff” said Diamond.
