The four films, which each deal with a different local community issue, will be screened in Peckham on 24th September.

Four short films relating to youth issues are being shot in South London as part of a scheme, Endz Projection, to encourage young people to confront issues within their community through film-making.

As part of the scheme, which is being run in conjunction with the BFI, National Film & Television School, Southwark Council, Connected Pictures and the Damilola Taylor Centre, budding film-makers from London were invited to submit ideas for short films.

The four chosen shorts will focus on relations between young people and the police, challenging the negative reputation of Peckham, the experiences of local taxi drivers and young people being sent to prison.

All those who applied for the project has been given the chance to work on the four films, which will be shown on an outdoor screen in Peckham on 24th September.
