UK production company Left Bank Pictures is developing a feature based around Pink Floyd track Another Brick In The Wall, for BBC Films.

Brick In The Wall is being written by first time feature writer Steve Thompson, and tells the true story of the children who did the backing vocals for the iconic Pink Floyd title, and the teacher that inspired them.

Andy Harries  and Suzanne Mackie of Left Bank Pictures will produce the film, which is at the first draft stage, with a director yet to be attached.

Mackie said of the project “Steve is a playwright and has written for TV. But he’s someone who we feel is exciting and original. We are keen to work with new talent.”
