Peccadillo Pictures has acquired the UK and Irish rights to Ferzan Ozpetek’s Loose Cannons (Mine Vaganti).

The film was acquired from Fandango Portobello Sales.

The dark romantic comedy is about two brothers from a wealthy family who want to come out of the closet.

Peccadillo plans an autumn 2010 launch in the UK.

Tom Abell, managing director of Peccadillo Pictures said: “It is wonderful to be working with Ferzan again. Loose Cannons is one of two absolute jewels in our autumn schedule and the whole Peccadillo team can’t wait to get started on its release.”
