Kieran Parker to direct third film with script by Rae Brunton.
Content is going into production with Outpost: Rise Of The Spetsnaz, the third in the franchise, set to shoot starting April 10 in Scotland and Yorkshire.
Kieran Parker will direct the script written by Rae Brunton. The cast includes Bryan Larkin and James “The Colossus” Thompson (an Ultimate Combat champion).
Content’s Jamie Carmichael said: : ‘There aren’t many British based action horror franchises that have spawned 3 films - and this time we see Nazi Zombies cage fighting with Russian Special Forces!”
Producers are Arabella Page Croft and Kieran Parker [pictured] for Black Camel Pictures and executive producers are Nigel Thomas from Matador Pictures and Jamie Carmichael from Content.
Matador Pictures backed the film, which is also supported by Creative Scotland and the SouthWest Scotland Screen Commission.
Producer Page Croft said: “Kieran and Rae were challenged to create an ORIGINS story for the OUTPOST franchise and I’m delighted they have delivered a terrific script with an action packed storyline and some fantastic new baddies. With production imminent and our lead cast in place we are all set for the goriest and most violent fight fest seen in our Outpost movies yet!
