The UK distributor has picked up rights to Simon Rumley’s thriller from Celluloid Nightmares.
Trinity Filmed Entertainment has picked up UK theatrical and DVD rights to Simon Rumley’s psycho-sexual thriller Red White & Blue.
The Austin, Texas-set, hard hitting revenge movie stars Amanda Fuller, Noah Taylor and Marc Senter. It premiered at Rotterdam last year.
Mark Sandell, co-director of Trinity, negotiated the deal with Nate Bolotin and Aram Tertzakian of Celluloid Nightmares, who are handling international sales.
Trinity will release theatrically in the UK on May 2011, to coincide with the US DVD release.
Sandell said: “We’re so pleased to have picked up the film from Celluloid Nightmares. Simon has created something visionary and brilliant but also challenging and raw. It’s a perfect film for us - unique and uncompromising.”
