Vertigo Films has added three new members of staff: Sarah Scougal [pictured] as the new Head Of Development, James Warren as the new Marketing Manager and Kathryn Craig in the newly created position of Head of Legal and Business Affairs.
Scougal has worked at Working Title Films and Sprout Pictures, and then at the Movie Package Company in Los Angeles.
Warren previously worked at Think Jam Digital, where he worked for clients including Fox, Universal, Warner, StudioCanal and Vertigo. He then worked at the digital arm of Romley Davies. He will work on the growing distribution team at Vertigo alongside MD Rupert Preston and Marketing Director Wahida Begum.
Craig is an experienced legal and business affairs executive who has previously worked at Polygram, Pathe, Qwerty, Momentum, Ingenious, Universal, Working Title and Film4.
Preston said, “We’re delighted to have three very talented and experienced members of staff joining the Vertigo team, bringing with them a wealth of experience, knowledge and expertise in the theatrical field, we feel that they will become an integral and valuable part of the company in what is set to become a very busy year”.
Vertigo’s forthcoming releases (all of which the company also produced) include StreetDance 2 [pictured], Pusher and The Sweeney.
