The French star of recent Toronto selection Samba who broke out in A Prophet has signed with United Talent Agency for representation.
Rahim won the 2010 best actor César for his role as Malik El Djebena in A Prophet and earned a BAFTA Rising Star nomination among others.
He went on to star in Asghar Farhadi’s 2013 Cannes competition selection The Past and most recently starred in The Cut, directed by Fatih Akin.
He continues to be represented in France by Agence Adequat in France.
The children’s adventure film has been created by using paper cut-outs in stopmotion animation.
American Film Convention to run from October 15-17 at Magic Box in DTLA.
