Zurich to add German-language market initiative
Eighth edition of Zurich Film Festival runs Sept 27-29.
The growing Zurich Film Festival is launching an industry platform or ‘mini-market’ for its 8th edition. The initiative, ZFF Filmboutique, will focus on German-language features and documentaries.
It will focus on about 20 to 30 productions from Germany, Austria and Switzerland for the past 12 months. There will also be work-in-progress offerings.
This year, it will run at Arena Filmcity from Sept 27-29.
“The ZFF filmboutique will provide the perfect overview of one of the most important markets in Europe and support our mission to increase the number of industry professionals coming to Zurich,” says Zurich head Karl Spoerri [pictured].
