The third International Film Music Competition will be held during the 10th Zurich Film Festival and will bring with it Oscar-winning cinema composer Hans Zimmer, who will be honoured with a special Lifetime Award.

This year, the International Film Music Competition entrants have been given the task of writing a score for symphony orchestra for the six-minute short film Maximall from Axel Tillement, Axel Cheriet, Hadrien Ledieu and Nawel Rahal.
