Clark previously served as senior executive vice-president of the department and will continue to direct the home office team overseeing Sony’s international theatrical launches.

He will also oversee the execution of marketing, media plans and public relations plans created by Sony’s territory offices around the world. He reports to president of worldwide marketing Marc Weinstock.

During his most recent tenure with the studio, Clark has overseen international campaigns on Angels & Demons, The Ugly Truth, District 9, The Karate Kid, Salt, The Social Network and The Tourist.

He is currently overseeing international campaigns for upcoming releases Battle: Los Angeles, Bad Teacher, Zookeeper, The Smurfs, Arthur Christmas, Jack And Jill, and The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, as well as 2012 releases Men In Black 3 and The Amazing Spider-Man.

Clark first joined Sony in London as European marketing supervisor in 1990 and rose to evp of international marketing. He left the company in 2003 and joined UIP as evp of international marketing before returning to Sony in late 2008.
