No Country For Old Men was named Best Picture and directors and screenwriters Joel and Ethan Coen took Best Direction and Best Screenwriting honours as the Toronto Film Critics Association announced its 2007 selection Wednesday.

Javier Bardem was also named Best Supporting Actor for his role as the methodical killer in the film. Runners-up for Best Picture kudos were Eastern Promises and Zodiac, while the directorial runners-up were those films' respective directors, David Cronenberg and David Fincher.

Viggo Mortenson was named Best Actor for his performance in Eastern Promises while Julie Christie and Ellen Page shared Best Actress for their respective roles in Away From Her and Juno. Supporting actress kudos went to Cate Blanchett for her performance as one of the several Bob Dylans in Todd Haynes' I'm Not There.

Canadian actress and filmmaker Sarah Polley was doubly honoured, winning both the prize for Best Canadian Film and the prize for Best First Feature.

Ratatouille was named Best Animated Feature while Palme d'Or winner 4 Months, 3 Weeks & 2 Days was named Best Foreign-Language Film. No End In Sight won the prize for Best Documentary Feature.
