UK-based production company Natural Nylon has lined up Stephen Daldry, director of Cannes-tipped feature Dancer, to direct Hellfire Club about a notorious aristocratic society.

The project is set to star Natural Nylon co-founders Jude Law, Jonny Lee Miller, Ewan McGregor, Sean Pertwee and Sadie Frost. John Brownlow has written the script.

Meanwhile Natural Nylon has also recruited Best Laid Plans director Mike Barker to direct Cromwell And Fairfax from Jennie Mayhew's script about Oliver Cromwell's attempts to bring the General of the English armies, Thomas Fairfax, into the front line of founding a new English state. Scottish actor Dougray Scott is attached to star.

Other new projects on Nylon's development slate include Once In A House On Fire, written and to be directed by Emily Young based on Andrea Ashworth's best-selling memoirs about her violent childhood. The company is also developing Unreasonable Behaviour, based on the autobiography of war photographer Don McCullin, which is set to star Jonny Lee Miller.

In addition, Marianne Jean Baptiste is set to star in Albert Camus, What's The Score, about a man who uses Camus' The Outsider as his guide through a voyage of discovery. Written by Wes Williams and Nick Whitfield - who will also star alongside Jean-Baptiste - the project is to be directed by Iain MacKenzie.
