Following the critical acclaim heaped on his directorial debut Tyrannosaur, Paddy Considine is to step back in front of the camera to star in Shan Khan’s debut feature Honour, a contemporary thriller which is being backed by CinemaNX.

Khan, who was BAFTA nominated in 2003 for his short film Candy Bar Kid, has written the script for the film, which is being produced by Nisha Parti for Parti Productions and Jason Newmark for Newscope Films.

Executive producers are Steve Christian and Marc Samuelson of CinemaNX and Leonid Lebedev and Julia Lebedev of Code Red Productions.

The project was developed with UK Film Council funding.

Shooting will begin on Nov 8 on the Isle of Man and in Glasgow.
