Palm Pictures has acquired North American and Caribbean rights toSA Crary's documentary Kill Your Idols and plans a summer theatrical release followed by DVD inthe autumn.

Kill Your Idols chartsa course through New York's downtown underground post-punk scene, kicking offin the late 1970s with the birth of the short-lived but influential No Wavemovement.

Palm's head of acquisitions and production David Koh negotiatedthe theatrical distribution deal with Submarine Films' Josh Braun and Dan Braun,who served as executive producers of the film.

Koh negotiated the DVD dealwith Netflix's vice president of original programming Eric Besner.
