He will be replaced by Barbara Salabè, who joins Warner Bros from Stage Management.

Long-time Warner Bros executive Paolo Ferrari is retiring from his post as president and managing director, Warner Bros.Entertainment Italy, after a 21-year career at the Studio. He will remain with the company until Spring 2012.

Ferrari joined Warner Bros. Entertainment in 1989 as managing director of Warner Bros. Italia, and subsequently as managing director Italy, Warner Bros. Pictures International.  

Since 2007, he has served as president and managing director, where he has been responsible for the general oversight of all of Warner Bros’ businesses in Italy, including theatrical and home video production, marketing and distribution.

He will be replaced by Barbara Salabè, who joins Warner Bros from Stage Entertainment where she was managing director. Salabè will report to Warners’ executive vice president Richard Fox. She will take up the post in November.
