Pathe has acquired UK rights to Three Bad Men fromArclight Films, which has also confirmed that Simon Pegg (Shaun Of The Dead)will be in the cast alongside Woody Harrelson and Brendan Fraser.

Falcom Media has already snapped up German rights to thecomedy thriller, which is being produced under the banners of Priority Picturesand Mirage Enterprises, both based in the UK, and Canada's Remstar.

Paul Wieland (City Slickers II, Mr Bean) will directthe film from a script by Peter Straughan, who is currently working withRichard Curtis, about a trio of hit men who relocate to the edges of suburbiato try to start a new life as model citizens.

Three Bad Men is produced by Anthony Minghella,Bruna Papandrea, David Barron, Marion Pilowsky and Maxime Remillard. Thepicture is the first from Priority, formed by Pilowsky and Colin Leventhal lastyear.

The executive producers are Sydney Pollack, Colin Leventhal,Andre Rouleau, Julia Blackman, Jeff Abberly and Arclight's Gary Hamilton.
