Toronto-based Peace Arch Entertainment has reported strong pre-sales during AFM on the nine new titles on its slate.

Momentum in the UK, itssister company Aurum in Spain and Odeon in Canada have each taken rights to theromance Delirious starring SteveBuscemi, Michael Pitt and Alison Lohman, as well all five titles from PeaceArch's new genre label Archetype Films.

The Archetype title are WarriorOf Terra starring Edward Furlong, TheLast Sect starring David Carradine, TheVeteran starring Ally Sheedy andMichael Ironside, Heartstopperstarring Robert Englund, and 5ive Girls, which is currently out to casting.

Metropolitan in France andAsmik Ace in Japan acquired rights to the John Lennon assassination drama Chapter27 starring Jared Leto and LindsayLohan. The picture also went to California Filmes in Brazil, which also pickedup Delirious and the family dramaTexas Lullaby starring JohnMalkovich and Bruce Willis.

In other deals, Paradiso inBenelux acquired Chapter 27 andTexas Lullaby; AQS picked up Chapter 27 and Delirious for the Czech and Slovak republics; Smile picked up Delirious for Scandinavia; PRA Films picked up TexasLullaby and all five Archetypetitles for Turkey; and Hollywood Classics picked up Texas Lullaby and Archetype titles The Veteran and Warriors Of Terra for the Czech and Slovak republics.

Brazil's MPA acquired allfive Archetype titles, and Rapi acquired Archetype titles The Veteran,Warriors of Terra and 5ive Girls for Indonesia. Portugal's Echo Films, Greece's ABEand the Middle East's Front Row each picked up the entire slate of nine titlesfor their respective territories. The slate also includes the drama Arrhythmia, which stars Rupert Evans and Derek Jacobi.

Peace Arch arrived at AFMhaving recently announced it was making an aggressive move into featureproduction, and used the market as a platform from which to launch its genredivision Archetype Films.
