Jim Brown's Pete Seeger: The Power Of Song and Sarah Robertson's Arctic Tale booked the 2007 Silverdocs festival, which runs in Maryland from Jun 12-17.

Pete Seeger: The Power Of Song weaves the life and music of Pete Seeger, and the growing impact of American folk music into an account of social upheaval in the latter half of the 20th century.

Arctic Tale follows the life cycle of a polar bear and a walrus as they face growing danger and radically altered lives from environmental abuse. Queen Latifah narrates.

Paramount Vantage will release the film in North America in association with National Geographic Films, which was behind the Oscar winning documentary March of The Penguins.

'With inspiring music and stunning imagery, [these films] address social and environmental concerns and inspire us to think deeper about life on planet earth,' festival director Patricia Finneran said.

Silverdocs is scheduled to run from Jun 12-17.
