The Atlantic Film Festival has invited director Peter Greenaway to be its special guest during its annual Academy Luncheon.

The luncheon, presented during the Festival's co-production market Strategic Partners, is presented by PricewaterhouseCoopers in partnership with the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television. This year's event will be held Sept 16.

'With Peter's extensive experience in international co-production, including his most recent film Nightwatching, a Canada/France/Germany/Poland/Netherlands/UK co pro, who better to push cinematic boundaries in a discussion then Peter with his provocative view on film and storytelling,' said Strategic Partners director Jan Miller. 'He is a perfect guest for our 10th anniversary event. We're thrilled to have him on board.'

The 27th Atlantic Film Festival runs Sept 13-22 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Strategic Partners runs Sept 14-16.
