Adam Platnick, president of motion pictures at Peter Guber's Mandalay Pictures, is to leave the company when his contract expires this summer. In a press release, Platnick did not specify his future plans but said he is "looking forward to new opportunities."

Until his contract expires, Platnick will continue work at Mandalay on the domestic and international release of Enemy At The Gates, post-production on The Score and principal photography on Servicing Sara.

It remains uncertain whether a replacement for Platnick will be sought. Recenty, Ori Marmur was promoted to executive vice president production, responsible for all aspects of development and production at Mandalay.
