Daniel Battsek will launch the second Production Finance Market (PFM), where more than 50 producers will present projects totalling $1.16bn.

A number of producers and financiers will meet at the Production Finance Market (PFM) in London from Oct 20-22, with a view to forging new financing relationships. The event will be launched by Daniel Battsek, President of Miramax Films.

The PFM, which is in its second year, is being run by Film London in association with The Times BFI 52nd London Film Festival and will see 50 producers present over 150 projects with a total value of $1.16billion to film financiers.

Financiers attending include UGC, Rai Cinema, Miramax Films, Studio Canal, Lionsgate, Nordisk Film, Ingenious Media, Celluloid Dreams, Aramid Capital Partners, Focus Features, 6 Sales, Natixis Coficine, Bank of Ireland, Sony Pictures Classics, Warner Bros. and Paramount Pictures.

Norma Heyman, award-winning producer and managing director of NFH Films received financing for one of her projects as a direct result of the market.

The projects on offer at this year's PFM come from UK and European production companies such as Recorded Picture Company, Fandango, Warp Films, Le Bureau and DNA Films.
