Bill Block's BeverlyHills-based sales company QED International has added psychological thriller TheGirl In The Park to its AFM slate.

Keri Russell, AlessandroNivola and Elias Koteas have joined Sigourney Weaver and Kate Bosworth onthe project, which is set to begin principal photography in New York onNov 13.

Sean Furst, Bryan Furst and Chip Rosenblum are producing the story from a screenplay by Pulitzer Prize winner DavidAuburn (Proof, The Lake House), who makes his feature directorial debut.

Weaver plays a woman who encounters a troubled teenager and suspects the youngster may be her daughterwho disappeared as an infant 15 years earlier. Singapore-based RGM Holdings is co-financing.

QED's senior vice president of worldwide distribution Kimberly Fox and chief operating officer PaulHanson negotiated the deal with the Furst Brothers.

"The Girl In The Park is an emotionally engaging film that willcaptivate audiences on several fronts," Fox said. "Itall stems from a terrific screenplay that attracted Sigourney Weaver andKate Bosworth to these impactful roles. We're thrilled to have thison our international sales slate."

QED's AFM sales slate includes the comedy Smart People starring Sarah Jessica Parker and Dennis Quaid, and the adventure Spring Break In Bosnia, which starsRichard Gere and Terrence Howard.
