Lucia Rangel has joined Warner Bros as vice president ofanti-piracy operations for Latin America.

The Brazilian-born executive will oversee all of the studio'santi-piracy operations in the region, working closely with Warner BrosEntertainment's anti-piracy regional teams and business units.

Rangel joins Warner Bros from the Motion Picture Association,where she served as vice president of worldwide strategic policy since May2004.

From 2001 to 2004 she worked at Sony's Sao Paulo and Los Angelesoffices as director of business and legal affairs for international production.

"Lucia brings with her a wealth of both business and IPprotection experience," Darcy Antonellis, senior vice president of worldwideanti-piracy operations, said.

"Our goalof assembling strong regional anti-piracy units around the world has taken aterrific step forward with Lucia joining the team."
