Raoul Ruiz's period epic Love And Virtue has lined up a stronginterernational cast including Damian Lewis, Virginie Ledoyen, John Malkovich,Peter O'Toole, Saffron Burrows, Stephen Dillane, Leonor Varela, Vincent Perez, DarylHannah, Michael Madsen, Melvil Poupaud, Anna Massey, Cristian de la Fuente MaxRyan, Alexa Rey and Boo Boo Stewart.

Lewis plays the hero,Orlando, a knight in King Charlemagne's court who is in love with Ledoyen'sAngelica.

The story, based on legends The Song Of Rolandand Orlando Innamorato, follows anoriginal script by Mia Sperber and Stefano Pratesi. Epic stories of love andloyalties in Charlemange's empire will be explored with a mystical touch.

Sperber is producing for Fountainof Life Productions alongside Alex Sullivan for The Leo Media and EntertainmentGroup. Intandem Films is handling international sales.

Co-producers are Jimmy deBrabant and Bob Bellion of Delux Productions with Kwesi Dickson of Future Films.John Daly is executive producing.

The shoot will start March 21 2007 on location in Belgium and Luxembourg, before moving to London.

Ruiz is also working with UK-basedFountain of Life on the epic feature Pythagoras:The Gates Of Light.
