MPI Media Group has picked up US rights to Steve Kostanski’s sci-fi action Manborg.

Greg Newman negotiated the deal with Raven Banner managing partners Michael Paszt and James Fler on behalf of Kostanki and exec producers Colin Geddes and Peter Kuplowsky.

MPI plans an early 2013 release in the US on the story of a resurrected supersoldier who battles an army of Nazi vampires and demons.

Raven Banner has closed sales in Australia (Monster), Germany (ION) and the UK (Rockstone). Raven Banner/Anchor Bay will distribute in Canada.
