Robert Redfordhas joined the voice cast on Gary Winick's upcoming adaptation of EB White'sfamily fantasy global bestseller Charlotte's Web.

Redford will play anarachnophobic horse and joins a talent roster that includes Julia Roberts (asCharlotte), Dakota Fanning, Steve Buscemi, Oprah Winfrey, Cedric The Entertainerand Thomas Haden Church.

The storycentres on a young farm girl named Fern, voiced by Fanning, who teams up withCharlotte the spider to save a pig from the butcher's block.

The Paramount Pictures, Walden Media, Nickelodeon Moviesand Kerner Entertainment co-production is currently in production in Melbourne,based on a screenplay by Susannah Grant and Karey Kirkpatrick.

Jordan Kerner isproducing, with Edgar Bronfman, Kerner Entertainment production chief PaulNeesan, Nickelodeon Movies' Julia Pistor, and Bernie Williams serving asexecutive producers.

Walden Media'sexecutive vice president of production Alex Schwartz will oversee for thecompany and Paramount production president Karen Rosenfelt will oversee for thestudio.
