New UK production company Reelscape Films will make its debut with Herbert Wise's Small Inclusions, now in development. Wise has previously directed TV projects include Inspector Morse, Rumpole of the Bailey and I Claudius.

Michael Gambon, Bob Hoskins and Greta Scacchi are in talks to star.

Peter Sushitzky, who has worked on several David Cronenberg films including Eastern Promises, will serve as DoP.

Becky Adams, formerly the unit manager for Rise Of The Footsoldier and In Your Dreams, launched the company and will produce Small Inclusions. She said: 'Reelscape Films was born out of a desire to eradicate unworkable budgets, impossible schedules and ill-conceived products. My aim is to provide a solid framework for film development and production, underpinned by clear and refreshingly realistic ideals, to produce commercially-viable British feature films.'

Alison Rose wrote the story, a tale of misunderstandings, love and regret when a man steals some diamonds instead of saving a diamond dealer's life.

Reelscape is partnering with Antwerp-based diamond consultancy Gemdax on the project. Gemdax will advise on the film and assist with raising finance. The School of The Arts at the Unversity of Northampton is also supporting the feature.
