Regent Entertainment has acquired worldwide rights to romantic comedy It Had To Be You starring Natasha Henstridge and Michael Vartan as two strangers who meet in New York while planning their respective weddings.

Produced by Neil Kaplan and Steven Feder and directed by Feder, the film was originally distributed internationally by Gene George, president of Regent International, during his tenure as president of NewStar Worldwide. George also negotiated the acquisition of domestic rights for Regent.

The film was previously sold to Splendid in Germany, Green Communications in Italy, Medyavizyon in Turkey, Haskolabio in Iceland, Polsat in Poland and France Television Distribution in France. New sales at AFM include to Spentzos in Greece, Blanco Y Travieso in Venezuela, Suraya Filem in Malaysia, Tandem in Bulgaria and Pioneer in the Philippines.
