Um, thanks for that but I think I'll be ok in my comprehension of the article. And, actually the problem exists in all subsidized film territories including the UK. Of course we have uk 'stars' who demand much greater salaries in their own local films than they can get in Hollywood productions. But the BFI is much more likely to 'fund' a film with a local star that one without. It's called opportunism, greed, fear - oh, I meant to say...the Film Industry.
