Interesting that you don't say, "oh great! More Steve McQueen films" ... or more Amma Asante films or more Hong Khaou films, but I presume this is what you're meaning by extension: film makers that aren't white, middle/upper-middle class (and typically male) have nothing of value to say and their vision has no merit.

Similarly, hard to say that the majority of the awardees are the usual suspects when the fund hasn't been launched, perhaps level that criticism in a year, if that's proven to be true.
