Absolute nonsense. Last year when I applied for an executive position that was listed in the trades for Film 4 I declared my disability and cultural ethnicity on the basis that I was guaranteed an interview under the 2 ticks scheme. When I received a rejection without being interviewed I became flaberghasted. I DID have the experience required and when I demanded to know why the scheme was not being honored by Film, they informed me that I wasn't skilled enough despite having done business with Film in a similar role with another company for years. Let's get over ourselves and admit that those shouting the most for diversity are the same people creating the inequality.
